Here is the inside scoop on the North Dakota Association of County Engineers.  Our organization is made up of County Engineers, Superintendents, Road Supervisors, Consulting Engineers, Road Forman, Commissioners, and Exhibitors, and when you get a group like this together, there is a vast sharing of knowledge, and always a little fun to be had.  Our Membership is made up of Full Members, Associate Members, and Sustaining Members and or honored Life Members. From the general membership, an Executive Board is elected.  The Board is made up of a President, Vice President, Secretary/Treasure, Three Directors positions, a Past President, and the NACE Reprehensive.  Normally one person is elected to fill a director’s spot and the rest of the board moves though the seats, with everyone looking forward to being the Secretary/Treasure. It is this position that is responsible for paying the bills, recording the minutes, and organizing and hosting the State Convention.  Our convention is made possible because of the hard work our members and our board, and the support of our Exhibitors.  Any one wanting to attend our conference, or exhibit at our conference please fill out our Registration form.  The NDACE conference has many excellent speakers, with a wide range of topics.  However, it is said many times at our conferences that some time you learn just as much from the person you sat next to at lunch as you did from the presenter just before lunch. The second day of the conference ends with our annual banquet. At the banquet our new president is installed, our Scholarships, and our County Engineer / Road Superintendent of the Year are awarded.  The NDACE has had a convention every year since 1952, but in 2005 was the first year that the group hosted the NACE Convention.  It took a lot of hard work and planning, but the convention was a huge success.  There were 347 delegates and 91 Guest from 33 different states and providences that attended the conference, along with 90 Exhibitors that came for the convention.  For more information of the conferences or the awards please follow the links or see the links below.
